The Good Stag Guide Goes Karting!

On September 29th, Myself and the team travelled to F1K  Karting in Colnbrook to get a taster of what they offer stag groups. We are a very competitive bunch as I'm sure any group of 10 guys would be so the discussion was getting "heated" to say the least on the journey there.

When we arrived, we were greeted by The F1K team, who provided us with our equipment and gave us a 10 minute safety briefing and tutorial.

They then showed us to our cars and we began a 5 lap qualifying session before being lined up on a 10 car grid, ready for our 80 lap grand prix to begin.

The 30 minute race was packed with constant overtaking, a few good crashes and some very brave manoeuvres as every member of the team was eager to win. I had to climb my way up the grid after crashing on the third lap so my second place finish was very rewarding, the race winner dominated from the start, though he did weight the least.

After the race and the 15 minutes of post race trash talk between the team, we were given an awards ceremony and the top three received their trophies and a spot on the podium, all of us were also given a print our lap times.

All in all, one of the best experiences I've had, I have already booked to go back with a different group as I can't handle being #2, "IF YOU AIN'T FIRST, YOU'RE LAST!"

The F1K team were top guys, they were very accommodating and made our day very enjoyable
